Title: Senior Office/HR Manager

Reports to: CEO

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Redwood City

Position Description:

We're seeking an individual to assist manage some specialized HR and General Office functions, including being the gate keeper for various departmental requests within the company. The roles to be required of this proven multi-tasker are: (1) General Office Administrator; (2) Corporate Human Resources management (mainly US); (3) Legal coordination; and  (4) Executive Assistant to the CEO/Chairman/board.


Some of the main responsibilities required for successful performance in this pivotal position are the ability to multi-task in a rapidly moving environment,  initiate employee communications, manage the HR page of the corporate Intranet site, on-board new hires. Applicant should have some experience in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and knowledge of payroll and benefit requirements. Applicant also must have excellent written/verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong computer skills. A minimum of 5 years experience as an Office Manager with Human Resources experience in a similar environment for a small to midsized company is preferred. Some working knowledge of HRIS system is a plus.



    5+ years experience as an  HR manager or administrative or legal assistant

    Ability to coordinate a variety of tasks

    Exceptional time management skills

    Excellent computer skills, experience with MS Office.

    Excellent communication skills -verbal and written

    Ability to take initiative and to set priorities independently

    Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail

    Experience working on a PC in a Windows environment

    Knowledge of electronic mail

Desirable Skills and Experience:

    Experience working in a software company

    Familiarity with the World Wide Web

    Knowledge of Intranet and HTML desirable
